Overview: GIA Media began as a film production group in Ilorin, Kwara State, under the leadership of Michael Able.

Initially focusing on stage productions across various university campuses like Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Kwara State Polytechnic, and the University of Ilorin, the group produced three notable movies: “Passion for the Nation,” “The Mad Man,” and “My Best Friend.”

Incorporation and Growth: Officially incorporating as a media production company on September 30, 2020, GIA Media transitioned to high-profile productions for esteemed clients such as Meyer Plc Nigeria, Ikeja Hotel Plc, and Real News Magazine.

From 2021 to 2023, the company’s annual turnover surged from 10 million to 200 million, with expansions into diverse services including live media production, event coverage, video production, and content creation. Achievements: In 2023, GIA Media reached a milestone by covering the Next Level Prayer Conference hosted by Pastor Bolaji Idowu of Harvesters International Christian Center. This event streamed to seven countries, garnering over 25,000 online viewers.

Additionally, GIA Media partnered with Coming to Africa to produce its inaugural documentary, “Motherland Connect.” In January 2024, the company co-produced “Winepress 2024,” one of West Africa’s largest gospel gatherings. Drawing a live audience of over 60,000 and an online audience exceeding 100,000 participants, the event was streamed across seven countries, including the United Kingdom, the USA, and Australia.
